Lago di Dobbiaco is a pretty emerald blue mountain lake in the stunning Val Di Landro. The lake is a glacial relic, formed during the last Ice Age, 12,000 years ago.

Lago di Dobbiaco covers 35 acres and belongs to the Fanes-Sense- Braies Nature Park. A 1.5mile nature trail to enjoy at your leisure with moments of awe the entire trail. I recommend beginning the hike on the eastern shore and walking counter clockwise. You’re going to love it!

Look out for a mini waterfall near Restaurant Seeschupfe.

📸If recommend exploring the beautiful town of Dobbiaco. It has cute cobbled streets and lots of beautiful architecture.

👟You can walk to Lago Di Dobbiaco from the centre of Dobbiaco. Just follow trail 29 and signposts for the lake, it’s approx an 1hrs walk there.

🚗 carpark on eastern shore is €2. If you dine at Restaurant Seeschupfe, you can park in their car park for free.
