Rainbow Springs State Park is a hidden gem in Florida, boasting crystal-clear waters and lush natural beauty. Visitors can take a dip in the sapphire-blue springs.
From ornamental gardens to waterfalls, this park offers a mix of history and outdoor adventure. Whether you're into swimming, hiking, birding, or just relaxing in nature.
We loved the hiking trails that led to multiple waterfalls.
Pro tip - kayak through Rainbow River (attached to the springs) for insanely clear and beautiful coloured waters. In the river you will be more secluded from others and you can choose to swim or just take in the beauty.
Along the river you will find multiple rope swings from tees for jumping into the river (use at own risk). You may even get lucky and spot some baby turtles like we did!
Always be on the lookout here, while you can swim in this area, there are alligators in the water so always make sure to watch your surroundings.
Entrance fee is $2 per person.
