An Upper East Side outpost of the Upper West Side institution, Levain is famous for their chunky, chocolate chip walnut cookies. Be prepared to queue! Founded in the 90s by besties Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald, they originally designed their cult classic cookie to fuel their triathlon training...and a star bakery was born!
