Kasbah Taourirt is a historic fortified residence complex in Ouarzazate, Morocco. Originally built by the Imzwarn family in the 17th century and later expanded by the Glaoui family in the 19th century, this kasbah played a significant role in controlling trade routes in southern Morocco. After falling into disrepair, it was restored in the 1990s with UNESCO's help and is now a popular historical attraction. With its impressive mud-brick architecture, decorated rooms, and unique features like overhanging balconies, Kasbah Taourirt offers visitors a glimpse into Morocco's rich cultural heritage.
