Lar Doce Livro is a new bookshop-café in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira Island, Azores, aiming to create a cozy space where readers feel like part of a big family. Founded by Marta and Joel, the project combines their dream of running a bookshop with a desire for a practical, hands-on job. With a diverse range of events planned, including book launches, reading clubs, stand-up comedy, and jazz concerts, Lar Doce Livro also aims to be a cultural hub for the city. Despite the digital age, they believe there's room for both e-books and physical books, hoping to inspire younger generations to rediscover the joy of reading.
