Dettifoss is a powerful waterfall located in Vatnajökull National Park in Northeast Iceland. Known as the second most powerful waterfall in Europe after the Rhine Falls, Dettifoss impresses visitors with its 44-meter drop and 100-meter width. The waterfall is fed by the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, which flows from the Vatnajökull glacier, giving the water a greyish-white hue due to sediment runoff.
