Gruta das Agulhas, also known as Needle Cave, is a cool cave on Terceira Island in the Azores, Portugal. Discovered in 1967, this cave is all about lava tubes and basalt formations. It's got a 250.5-meter gallery with needle-like sediment scattered around, giving it its name. The cave is home to some unique species like Troglofauna and has been studied for its geological importance. Access is restricted due to sea erosion, but it's definitely a neat spot worth checking out if you're into caves and cool rock formations!

The Gruta das Agulhas is at its highest point 5.4 metres (18 ft) and at the widest point 4.5 metres (15 ft).
