Goðafoss Waterfall in northern Iceland is a stunning natural wonder located along the country's main ring road. The waterfall drops 12 meters over a width of 30 meters, creating a picturesque sight for visitors. Its name, which can mean "waterfall of the gods" or "waterfall of the chieftain," has an intriguing history with legends suggesting it was named after statues of Norse gods thrown into the falls.
