Aqueduto da Usseira is an amazing feat of engineering in Obidos, Portugal. Though not 2000 years old (as some might believe) it was commissioned around 1570 and eventually completed after the 1755 earthquake, when it had to be partially rebuilt. This historical structure is located only 5 minutes from the main gate and its magnificence can be seen stretching as far as the eye can see. Visitors will not want to miss the opportunity to take photos of this well preserved Aqueduct, however, one might need to maneuver around the parking lot that has been built in front of it.
