Chinar Tree is a magnificent piece of nature full of history and beautifully lit up in the evenings. Located at the Old Bazaar near Ali Pasha Mosque, this tree is thought to be have been standing for between 600-1100 years and is one of the oldest trees on Earth. The locals hold it in high regard as they believe that it can bring luck and good fortune. Walking around the base of the tree, one can truly appreciate its grandeur and its relevance to the local culture and history.
