The Bay of Bones Museum is a unique and mesmerizing archaeological complex located on the shore of Ohrid Lake. This one-of-a-kind museum, which was partially reconstructed from the remains of a prehistoric settlement that occupied 8500 square meters, offers visitors an opportunity to travel back to ancient times and discover the secrets of life in prehistory. Visitors can experience an authentic reconstruction of a pile dwelling settlement, enjoy the magnificent view, as well as explore the mystery surrounding the Roman military fortification placed on a hill above the museum. Scuba divers can also explore the depths of the lake to uncover relics scattered underneath the pile dwelling settlement. With numerous sites to explore and captivating views to take in, the Bay of Bones Museum is an enjoyable destination for locals and foreigners alike.
