Tateshina Onsen Kozai no Yu is a cozy hot spring inn located in the Tateshina Highlands. It offers a variety of indoor and outdoor baths for guests to enjoy. I often visit this day use onsen after a hike in the area to unwind and rejuvenate.

• Outdoor Bath and Large Communal Bath:
  9:00 AM – Around 8:00 PM (open daily)

Bathing Fees

• Adults: 700 yen

Private Baths

• Additional fee on top of regular bathing fees:

  • 40 minutes: 800 yen

  • 50 minutes: 1,000 yen

Additional Notes

• Guests wishing to use the day-use bath or private baths should register at the front desk.

• Free parking is available for up to 40 vehicles.
