One of my favorite grape-picking spots in Yamanashi is run by a friendly grandma who goes out of her way to help you sample different varieties of grapes. Even if you're not picking them yourself, you can visit just to buy a selection of delicious, carefully grown grapes. The care and dedication put into cultivating them is evident. The grape season typically runs from August to October, making it the perfect time to visit and enjoy the freshest produce.
