The Canyó del Mascarat, located in the north of Altea's coast, is a small canyon that some say resembles the Grand Canyon (but let's not get carried away). The route is short, about 2 kilometers round trip, passing through a narrow gorge with impressive bridges spanning the ravine. Legend has it that a bandit named El Mascarat used to lurk here, adding a touch of mystery to the scenic hike. Don't forget to check out the nearby Mirador de Toix for stunning views of the cliffs and the hidden Cala Racó del Corb beach. It's a great spot for a leisurely stroll and some breathtaking vistas.
