🌉 The Puente Mayor de Liérganes, mistakenly called the Roman bridge, is a charming stone bridge located in the town of Liérganes, Spain. Designed by Bartolomé de Hermosa in 1587 and completed in 1606, this bridge has a rich history that includes a dispute with the neighboring village of Rucandio over construction costs. 🏞️ The bridge is also home to a restored mill from 1667 and a statue of the mythical Cantabrian figure, the Hombre Pez. 🐟 It's a cool spot to check out if you're ever in the area! 🗺️
