The Alto Ribeira Tourist State Park, also known as PETAR, is a state park in São Paulo, Brazil, that's all about exploring nature and adventure. With over 350 caves, waterfalls, and lush Atlantic Forest scenery, it's a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. You can hike through the trails, marvel at the caves with their stunning formations, and even spot some cool wildlife like howler monkeys and tapirs. Whether you're into caving, hiking, or just soaking up the natural beauty, PETAR has something for everyone. You must take guided tour to visit the caves and do some hikings. Cachoeira do Meu Deus is a must see water fall near Petar and you can take the long hiking (5 hours) or short (around 1 hour).
