The Jardim Botânico de São Paulo is like a little jungle oasis right in the heart of the city. Founded by botanist Frederico Carlos Hoehne in 1928, this 146-hectare park gives you a taste of Brazil's untouched beauty before the Portuguese arrived.

You can wander through lush gardens, spot colorful birds like toucans and parakeets, and even catch a glimpse of sloths and howler monkeys hanging out in the trees.

It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of São Paulo and get back to nature for a bit.

P.S. it´s attached to Sao Paulo Zoo, so you can visit both in the same day.
