This is a super cool hidden beach on Vestmannaeyjar. Start hiking from the Herjolfsdalur campsite on the main path between the stage. It will take you about 30 min to reach the ridge. From here the views are amazing in both directions. Continue along the ridge to the left and you will see a thin trail leading down the grassy hill. Follow it and you will come to a lonely house. The trail continues past the house and down the cliffs to the ocean. At the end you will reach this secluded beach where you are most likely to be all alone.

This is a very steep hike and can be extremely slippery when wet. The trail is not marked so be careful and only go if you are confident walking in steep terrain.

If you are there on a good weather day, its absolutely worth it.
