🇬🇧 In Venice, there are two options for accommodation: choose a hotel in Venice itself or sleep off the island for less money but make the boat trip every day. Personally and having tested both, I much prefer to sleep on the island because it is much more practical and in addition you can take breaks at the hotel, knowing that you have to walk a lot when visiting Venice. So when arriving by plane and since the airport is not directly on the island, you have to buy tickets for the waterbus transfer at the counter after collecting your suitcases (or on the alilaguna.com site, many more practical because it can avoid tens of minutes of waiting) then go to the boat dock at the exit of the airport (everything is very well indicated). Take a return ticket and remember not to lose it throughout your stay, the price is around 27€. You can also take a private taxi but the fare is much higher. 🇫🇷 À Venise, il y a deux options pour se loger : choisir un hôtel dans Venise même ou bien dormir hors de l’île pour moins cher mais faire le trajet en bateau tous les jours. Personnellement et pour avoir testé les deux, je préfère largement dormir sur l’île car c’est beaucoup plus pratique et en plus on peut faire des pauses à l’hôtel à volonté, sachant qu’il faut beaucoup marcher en visitant Venise. Donc en arrivant par avion et vu que l’aéroport n’est pas directement sur l’île, il faut acheter les tickets pour le transfert en bateau-bus au guichet après la récupération des valises (ou sur le site alilaguna.com, beaucoup plus pratique car ça peut éviter des dizaines de minutes d’attente) puis se rendre au quai de bateau à la sortie de l’aéroport (tout est très bien indiqué). Prenez un billet aller-retour et pensez bien à ne pas perdre votre ticket tout le long de votre séjour, le prix est d’environ 27€. Vous pouvez aussi prendre un taxi privé mais le tarif est beaucoup plus élevé.
