Al-Muizz Street is an iconic part of the historical city of Cairo in Egypt. Founded in the 10th century by the Fatimid dynasty, it is one of Cairo's oldest and most cherished streets. It has long been a vibrant mixture of commercial and religious activities, home to many famous mosques, madrasas, mausoleums and other historic buildings. With the ongoing modernization of the city, al-Muizz street underwent a significant rehabilitation project beginning in 1997, making it an "open-air museum" with restored historical monuments, modern buildings, and state-of-the-art lighting. A visit to this majestic street is an opportunity to experience thousands of years of history in one place and marvel at its timeless beauty.
