Check out discover jackson for the dam release dates as this waterfall is a sight to see on a release date! It's also an awesome spot for swimming and has many places to take a dip downstream. The river is very popular with kayakers as well.

The hike down is relatively easy and you'll be there in no time. On the way back up you'll have some uphill but since it's a relatively short hike it's not too bad.

Water flow can be low at times so try to visit in the spring or after a rain so you can see it in it's full glory.
