Next to the Baroque Palazzo Morelli and the Palazzo Comunale, currently used as the Civic Library, stands the Clock Tower, which dates back to the eighteenth century and was once a university seat.
The tower clock was once located on the bell tower of the Mother Church of San Giorgio. The tower was also embellished with the construction of a circular colonnade in the upper part.
The tower now houses the historical archive of Locorotondo and the Archaeological Documentation Center on the Grofoleo Neolithic settlement.
