The nuns' tits (Tette delle monache) are very soft and fluffy shells of sponge cake inside which there is a generous spoonful of chantilly cream. All around instead, a sprinkling of powdered sugar.

The name is given by the shape that closely resembles a woman's breast. But what about the nuns? Also according to tradition, the dessert seems to have often been prepared by the nuns of the monastery of Santa Chiara in Altamura.
