If you have more than a few hours available in Amalfi, I suggest you take a walk in the Valle dei Mulini and reach the old paper mill of Amalfi, where the Paper Museum is located.

From the historic center it is worth going into the alleys that climb towards the cemetery. Some narrow stairways, even steep, lead to a small terrace from which you have a beautiful view of the village.
