Ritsurin Garden used to be a private garden for the local lords. Established in 1745 the garden is now open to the public so everyone can enjoy this beautiful garden with 6 ponds and 13 landscape hills.
You can wander around and check out all the ponds, hills, and teahouses.
For a small admission fee, you can enter the Kikugetsutei teahouse, sit down on traditional tatami flooring and enjoy drinking matcha tea, while overlooking the pond. 🍵
