The Old Hottatei (Sakura Garden) is an incredibly beautiful traditional garden in Sakura City, Chiba. It was built during the Meiji area, created by the last lord of the Sakura domain, Hottatei Masatomo. I found the garden to have beautiful natural landscape and traditional Japanese architecture. You can experience seasonal tea ceremonies here and it really doesn't get more authentic than that 🍵 I haven't seen it in autumn but I think it has probably some gorgeous red foliage in autumn 🍁
