Trollkyrkja, also known as the 'Troll Church', is a fascinating geological formation in Norway with two waterfalls inside. It is a 70-meter-long canyon that was formed over thousands of years by a powerful glacial river. The towering walls of the canyon rise up to 20 meters high, and the sound of water echoing through the narrow space creates an eerie, otherworldly atmosphere. The noise of the waterfall makes it a bit scary to enter the cave, but it is absolutely worth to make your way through the cave. Visitors can explore the canyon on foot, following a well-marked trail that winds through the stunning Norwegian wilderness. Park by the RV64 and follow the marked path of 4km towards Trollkirka. It takes about an hour and a half to get to the caves. There is a sign where you enter the caves. Bring good flashlights/headlamps to each person to have a good view when you are inside the caves. If you continue past the entrances to the caves, you come to the first waterfall in a marble bowl, where you can take a refreshing swim! When you continue your way, you'll have to go down an iron staircase to get to the second waterfall. (The picture is from the second waterfall). Be prepared to get your feet wet here!
