Zpráva od Adventurous Itinerant

The Panathenaic Stadium in Athens, Greece, is a historic attraction known for being the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. Originally constructed in the 6th century BC as a racecourse, it was later rebuilt in marble by Herodes Atticus around 144 AD, with a capacity of 50,000 seats.

After falling into disuse, it was excavated in the 19th century and hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Today, it continues to be used for various events and is the finishing point for the annual Athens Classic Marathon.
