Mihály Kolodko's Mini Tank sculpture is a fun way to explore Budapest, Hungary. Located in Szabadság Square (Liberty Square), the guerilla sculptor has created dozens of mini sculptures throughout the city. The tiny bronze sculpture of a tank is part of Kolodko's larger series, with most not much bigger than a clenched fist, making them difficult to spot. Kolodko began creating these miniature sculptures in 2010 as a way to quickly and conveniently depict monumental ideas. Visitors to Budapest can join in the search for the other Kolodko sculptures, which include the likeness of composer Franz Liszt near a bus stop, a Jeff Koons-inspired balloon dog near the Chain Bridge, and his latest addition – a Russian warship – which is his largest mini sculpture to date. Discovering all of Kolodko's creations is the perfect way to get to know Budapest!
