I lived in Kyoto for a year and every time I go back I usually check availability here first. For me, it's walking distance from Kyoto Station, the subway that runs north, and next to the Kamogawa river. It's a great location - especially for late night food options as Kyoto is known to shut down earlier than other large Japanese cities.
