Pedra da Gávea is a massive mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, standing at 844 meters tall. It's also one of the best hikes in the city.

This is a hike we recommend doing with a guide because it is not so easy. There is a part where you have to climb on an exposed section of rocks, so the guide will help you with ropes. We have linked the exact tour we did the last time we visited.
