There's a lot of different visa options in Bali! It can almost be a bit confusing and overwhelming - but no worries! All you need to know is this:

Visa on Arrival (VoA) - up to 60 DAYS

If you're coming on a quick trip for tourist purposes only (not for work, except remote work) - 30 days or less - you can get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at the airport as you go through immigration. It's only about $30 USD / £25 GBP. Or if you want to sort it out beforehand, you can get one via the Immigration Website.

Pro-Tip: You can skip as many queues as possible by getting the eVisa before arriving, but also by filling out the mandatory Customs Declaration Form beforehand as well - otherwise you'll get through immigartion, get your bags, think you're finally ready to leave, and then boom, gotta do another thing first!

If you want to stay for up to 60 days, you need to extend your 30 day visa online via the same Immigration Website above - if you're having problems with that, contact a visa agent to help you. DON'T FORGET to extend your visa! The fines were recently 1 million IDR ($65 USD / £50 GBP) per day for overstaying, but have gone up even higher!

Other visas - longer than 60 DAYS

For any visa longer than 60 days, or a visa that allows you to work in Bali, you'll need a Visa Agent to help secure a visa for you. We've used our fair share of visa agents since coming to Bali, but the best guy we can possibly recommend is Ocky Misa - you might already know him as the "What's Up Bali!" guy! We found him from his YouTube channel, and he helped secure our KITAS (long term working visa) for us - he's a really nice guy for one, but also is very on top of the new laws and legislations in Bali, so he's the perfect guy to help you with your visa. His contact information is available on his wesbite, and you can check out his channel for regular updates as well.

You can always contact us in the message section if you have any questions!
