La Cocina's empanadas are a cult favorite in the city.

The empanadas are Catamarqueñas, from the northwestern province of Catamarca. This is a tiny hole in the wall and seems perfectly out of place in posh Recoleta.

Everything on the menu is excellent but I recommend ordering the Pikachu, a sweet and spicy cheese and onion empanada unique to La Cocina.
