Despite being saturated in the very center of the touristy neighborhood of Chiado this cute square is super calm and tranquil. We love stopping for a drink or a coffee while strolling through the streets of Lisbon.

The square is located just in front of the famous Carmo convent where lots of people go to see the beautiful light show at night.

For us this is one of the cutest small squares in Lisbon and we truly think you should pay it a short visit when spending time in Lisbon. A fun fact is that there used to be an apartment for sale in the pink palacete on the square that we like to call our dream apartment. We could never afford it, but you can actually peek inside the windows of the building and see the beautiful frescos covering the ceiling of the entire apartment.
