Levada do Castelejo is a scenic levada walk in Porto da Cruz, Madeira, offering a 20-kilometer round trip through diverse landscapes. The highlight of the trail is the fun hanging bridge where you can relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Just be prepared for some inclines and declines, especially on the return journey back to the car park. Overall, it's a rewarding hike that immerses you in the beauty of North Madeira. One of the things that we tought was most fun about the hike was actually that one of the houses had decided to add a little banan stand in front og their property where we could buy a banana to enjoy which ofc we did.
