Yakutania Point is a quick and easy place close to downtown Skagway to to but offers stunning ocean and mountain views. It's a great place to go have a picnic. The trail is pretty well defined and mostly used by locals. You can also continue further down the trail to a beachy meadow area called Smugglers Cove.

Length: 2.3km Duration: 30 min Elevation Gain: 21m Route Type: Out and back

📍 Directions: Start from the parking lot across from the Skagway Airport Travel over the footbridge and check out the river for Sea Otters Turn left at the end of the bridge and follow the trail until you reach the rock seaside (you'll see a picnic bench under a shelter) Feel free to go out on to the rocks just remember theres an ocean tide

There are picnic tables and outhouses in the area. Please pack in and pack out everything you bring.
