Charming yellow lighthouse in Iceland

Message from Dani Guindo

The Hólmsberg Lighthouse in Iceland is a charming yellow beacon perched on a hill, standing out against the rugged coastline of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Built in 1956 to guide ships through treacherous waters, this sunny-hued lighthouse underwent a makeover in 1964 and has been shining brightly ever since. While you can't go inside, the grounds are free to explore, offering a peaceful escape from the industrial surroundings. It may take a bit of persistence to find this hidden gem, but the stunning views and solitude make it well worth the effort.
