Aasvoëlbad Hiking Trail is an moderately difficult trail located near Hartebeespoort and situated on private farm. The route is great for the more seasoned hiker or runner with 4.5km, 6.5km and 7.5km trails.

Along the way you can expect to see a variety of different game from Zebra, Springbuck, Impala and much more! The owner of the farm Jakob will likely show you around, and you'll be in for a good history lesson about the area.

If you'd like to hike along though, some good solitude can definitely be enjoyed in this picturesque mountain range.

Lastly, some good things to know before you go:

• From the turn off from the main road, there is a 1km well maintained gravel road.

• There are 3 farm gates that you go through before you get there

• No alcohol is allowed

I'd recommend the 6.5km trail :)
