What you'll do

Explore Reykjavik’s bustling food scene with local gourmands Shruthi and Kasia. During the tour, you will taste the very best that Iceland has to offer, without ever leaving vibrant downtown. The island’s very best seasonal produce, cooked by renowned chefs, in spots favoured by locals are the highlight of the trip. This is no cookie cutter tour of your usual suspects, this is for the curious foodie who shares our desire for the quest for the best.

This is the ideal way to explore Reykjavik’s growing reputation as a Nordic food destination. Shruthi and Kasia are long term residents and have over a decade’s experience with the Icelandic food industry. You will delve into the history of Icelandic cuisine, taste exclusive peak produce like hand picked Queen scallops from the Westfjords, locally grown greenhouse vegetables, skyr, foraged ingredients like rhubarb and lovage, free roaming lamb and wild caught fish.

The exact meeting location will be determined and communicated to you closer to the date of the tour.

More dates will be announced later, but feel free to reach out and inquire about availability on specific dates.
