Personalized itinerary

Just came back from an AMAZING trip to Iceland (south coast). I had originally put together an itinerary by myself but wasn't quite satisfied with it. I have been following Gunnar on Instagram for a while and suddenly found out that I could have him review my itinerary - and it was the best decision! Gunnar gave great input as to what to skip and what to add instead and he also rearranged some things for a more balanced schedule. On top of this he provided lots of useful tips and 'optional activities' in case we felt like it last minute. I travelled with 5 friends from high school (we go on a trip every 2nd year and this was probably our 10th trip) and we all agreed this was our BEST trip yet. Off course this is because Iceland is so incredibly beautiful and because we saw northern lights on all 4 nights - but it's definitely also because of all the excellent input from Gunnar. I will recommend everyone to consult Gunnar if they ever plan to visit Iceland!

Gunnar’s personalized itinerary for us was amazing. Not only did we love all the activities and it fit us perfectly, it saved me from having to figure out a lot of logistics. Gunnar planned around two different parts of our trip—one more active and one more low key when we had my in laws join us. He gave options and lots of great detail to help us know what to do and when. I’ve been raving to all my friends about Rexby and our itinerary. And I felt even more impressed when I saw Gunnar’s name and photos popping up everywhere in Iceland. He’s effectively a local legend and I feel grateful to have had him guide our trip. So much so that we’re going back in wi ter and I’ve already asked for another itinerary. Thank you Gunnar!

Gunnar’s guide has been so useful! We have taken his hotel, food and hiking recommendations all along the south coast and have been very pleased with all of them. We have wifi in our car, so it has been easy to consult the guide throughout the day. It is very handy that each item he recommends has a button to click through to google maps, making navigation/logistics really easy. Being able to filter our search for hot springs vs hikes vs waterfalls has been great too. And his photos are superb, of course!

Excellent guide, very friendly and helpful

Gunnar’s Ultimate Guide to Iceland is an absolutely fantastic reference for all the best things to do, see, and eat/drink around the country, but I cannot possibly say enough great things about his tour! Gunnar seems to know anything and everything one would want to learn, and being able to chat with and learn from him as we drove around the country (to a wealth of amazing spots) was an experience like no other.

There are plenty of things to explore that you might see on social media or in travel guides, but the number of “unlisted” things we saw, thanks to Gunnar, was astounding. He made the trip feel much less like a typical tour, and much more of a fun day driving around with a new friend; what’s more, his general energy really can’t be beat!

My final point - I am never one to go for the “guided tour,” as I tend to enjoy an organic approach to discovering a country; and every single moment of the day with Gunnar was filled with things we would never have seen, and never learned, without his help, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
