In the Republic of Ireland it’s Euro Northern Ireland pound sterling.
In the Republic of Ireland the currency is Euro in Northern Ireland the currency is Pound sterling.
Most places take cards but in the more remote areas you may need cash - Especially the Islands. Some of the remote places may not have internet access.
