Message from Nicole Zohdi

Tröllaskagi Peninsula in North Iceland is actually one of the places I visited on my very first trip to Iceland. The nature of this area lit a fire on my soul. It is the epidemic of quiet, secluded untouched nature of Iceland offering stunning mountainous landscapes, colorful towns, and unique attractions like the Herring Era Museum in Siglufjörður. With paved roads and only an extra hour and a half of driving time, it's a must-visit detour if you want to get truly lost in the beauty and charm of Iceland nature beyond the Ring Road.
