• Gravel Road, no 4WD required

Mulagljufur Canyon is one of the last hidden gems in Iceland and most likely the second best view we have ever had. The car park is completely free and there is a marked path to the top where you can see the canyon. The hike takes about 1h one way to get the best view of the canyon, although you can continue further which takes longer. As this is still a fairly unknown hike there is no exact point I can give you where you need to stop for the best view. WE had the best view near a fenced off zone on a cliff edge.
