Goðafoss Waterfall, also known as the "Waterfall of the Gods," is a breathtaking natural wonder located in northeastern Iceland. It's like something out of a fairytale! This majestic waterfall is about 100 feet wide and drops 39 feet into a serene pool below. Legend has it that it got its name when an old Norse priest threw idols of the pagan gods into the falls to symbolize Iceland's conversion to Christianity. Whether you're a nature lover or a history buff, Goðafoss is a must-see destination that will leave you in awe.
