One of the first spots I explored after moving to Puerto Vallarta was the waterfalls at Chico’s Paradise. The name actually refers to a restaurant, but right next to it are some stunning waterfalls that are perfect for a day of adventure.

Bring a swimsuit, and plan to spend some time sunbathing on the rocks or taking a refreshing dip—it's such a beautiful area to explore!

To get there, you’ve got a couple of options: rent a car and take Highway 200, or just grab the local bus from Zona Romántica if you want to keep things simple.

Plus, it’s close to the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens, so combining both makes for an awesome day trip out of the city.
