Getting around in Milos

What's the best way to discover the island of Milos?

I asked myself this question before my trip and thought I had an answer, but I was probably wrong. We rented an ATV in Milos from RAC, and everything went very smoothly. I highly recommend it. However, we encountered a problem when we had a large piece of luggage and needed to travel from the port to our accommodation (20 minutes away). We couldn't fit both the luggage and two medium-sized backpacks on the ATV, so we had to take a taxi for that portion of the journey. This turned out to be a big mistake, as they charged a high fee (60 euros for a 20-minute drive). Therefore, my suggestion is, if you have more than a backpack, consider renting a car. It's the best solution and doesn't cost much more than the ATV. Additionally, with a scooter, you would face the same luggage issue.

In conclusion, think about how many pieces of luggage you have before renting an ATV or scooter, as you might save some money on the rental but end up paying extra for a taxi. Also, don't worry about parking; you will have plenty of space everywhere you go.
