Secluded Waterfall near Reykjavik

Waterfall

Message from Kyana Sue Powers

Find this secluded waterfall and canyon walk only 30 minutes from Reykjavik. It's really a hidden gem and not yet developed for large crowds, so let's both keep this one a secret. Drive down the gravel road and park your car at the end. You'll take a short walk down into a valley. The path can be slippery if wet so make sure to wear your hiking boots or use crampons in the winter time. You'll need to hop over a little fence (this is just for local horses and sheep). You'll up close and personal with this waterfall and likely will be the only visitors there. If you want a longer adventure, you can walk to the top of the waterfall and follow the path for however long you want!
