Tampaksiring is a beautiful town set in central Bali, Indonesia. Surrounded by idyllic rice fields and lush greenery, it is the perfect place to get away from it all. One of the major attractions in the area is Gunung Kawi Temple and archaeological site, which is over 1,000 years old. Visitors can also explore the Tirta Empul Temple and the Presidential Palace, which was built between 1957-1960 with its many buildings sprawling across 19 hectares. With so much to see and explore there's something for everyone in Tampaksiring!
