One of the main attractions is the Achada da Cruz cable car, which descends steep cliffs to the Fajã da Quebrada Nova, a remote, oceanfront agricultural area. The cable car ride provides breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged coastline and lush green terraces below.

Daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Prices:

Around €5 for a round trip

At the top, you'll find a cozy café where you can enjoy a drink or snack while taking in the stunning scenery. The area is perfect for a quiet retreat, whether you’re exploring the secluded fajã or just relaxing with a view.
