It is an indoor market (like the one in Barcelona, to be sure), divided into two macro-areas: one dedicated to the land, with fruit and vegetable shops, bakeries and butchers, and another dedicated to the sea, with a wide range of banks populated by fresh fish and seafood of all kinds. Know that the Market of Olivar, more than a place where "go shopping" is a place to live, an experience. In fact, there are the magical tapas bars where I sat at the bar to taste local products. It is located a few steps from Calle San Miguel, the main shopping street of Palma, not far from Plaza Mayor and is open from Monday to Saturday, from 6 to 14.

🇮🇹 Si tratta di un mercato al coperto (stile quello di Barcellona, per intenderci), diviso in due macro-aree: una dedicata alla terra, con negozi di frutta e verdura, panetterie e macellerie, e un’altra dedicata al mare, con una distesa di banchi popolati da pesce fresco e frutti di mare di ogni tipo. Sappi che il Mercato del Olivar, più che un posto dove banalmente “andar a fare la spesa”, è un luogo da vivere, un’esperienza. Infatti, ci sono i magici tapas bar dove mi sono seduto al bancone per gustarmi prodotti locali. Si trova a due passi da Calle San Miguel, la principale via dello shopping di Palma, non lontana da Plaza Mayor ed è aperto da lunedì a sabato, dalle 6 alle 14.
